Driving around looking at Christmas lights is one of the best holiday traditions. It’s free, fun for everyone, and provides an instant mood boost if the holidays have you feeling stressed. Fortunately, you can find plenty of great Christmas light displays in Orlando.
Many homes and neighborhoods throughout the city go all out with their holiday decorating. But because the city is so spread out, it can be challenging to figure out where to go first. That’s where this post comes in.
The houses on this list have one thing in common: they’re a little extra. Some of them feature synchronized light displays, while others go for a maximalist look with an unbelievable number of lawn decorations. So if you need a dash of Christmas spirit, check out these great neighborhood Christmas light displays in Orlando.
Lake Nona Lights
The Lake Nona Lights are celebrating their 13th year of operation in 2024. This display features Christmas lights that dance in sync with all kinds of holiday tunes. The show was put together by two guys who work in Walt Disney World’s finance department.
The Lake Nona Lights are on every Sunday-Thursday from 6-10pm, and Friday-Saturday from 6-11pm. The show runs from Thanksgiving until New Year’s Eve.
Address: 9800 Old Patina Way, Orlando, FL 32832
Cross Christmas
Cross Christmas is one of the top neighborhood Christmas light displays in Orlando. The display features an oak tree wrapped in lights, a light show set to music, various characters made of Christmas lights, and even hourly snowfall from 6-10pm.
This seems to be a popular display with families. Kids enjoy running around in the “snow” and checking out the decorations.
Cross Christmas is located off University Boulevard, so if you’re in the area, head over to check out the holiday magic.
Address: 4241 N. Econlockhatchee Trail, Orlando, FL 32817
Bivona Christmas Light Show
The Bivona Christmas Light Show has been dazzling locals since 1983 with thousands of lights dancing to Christmas music. Inflatables and a screen showing Christmas movies add to the festive atmosphere.
The display is full of energy, with lights flashing rapidly across various show elements to create a dynamic experience. You can tune the radio to 91.3 FM to listen to the music while you watch the show from the comfort of your car.
The Bivona Christmas Light Show runs from dusk to 10:30pm through December 31.
Address: 1601 N. Wind Court, Winter Springs, FL 32708
Fye’s Crazy Christmas House
The Fye’s Crazy Christmas House is another one of my favorite Christmas light displays in Orlando. Picture all kinds of Christmas decorations, all jammed onto the front lawn of a normal-sized suburban home and glowing with thousands of lights.
Lights cover the roof, arc over the driveway, and line the sidewalk. On the lawn, you can spot Snoopy, Santa’s workshop, flying reindeer, the Grinch, Baby Yoda, a nativity scene, and much more. Some of the decorations look homemade, which adds to the charm of the display. There’s even a sleigh for family photos.
The Fye’s Crazy Christmas House is open Sunday-Thursday from 5:30-9pm, and Friday-Saturday from 5:30-9:30pm, weather permitting.

The Williams’ Family Holiday Light Display
The Williams family of Oviedo really knows how to keep it festive. In October, they go all out with a fun Halloween display, and at Christmastime, they light up the neighborhood with The Williams’ Family Holiday Light Display.
This display includes synchronized lights and colorful decorations. Tune your car radio to 88.5 FM and enjoy the show. The Williams’ Family Holiday Light Display runs from 11am-9pm Monday-Thursday, and 11am-10pm Friday-Sunday.
(Note: I found this house on a long list of Christmas light displays in Oviedo put together by a local realtor. The list also includes displays from nearby communities such as Winter Springs and Sanford. I’m not affiliated with this realtor in any way, and I can’t guarantee that all the houses on the list are lit up. But overall, it’s a handy starting point if you’re in the Seminole County area.)
Address: 1037 Brielle Avenue, Oviedo, FL 32765
1003 McKinnon Drive
The first moment I saw 1003 McKinnon Drive reminded me of an Ireland trip I took back in 2022. I was riding on a tour bus through rural County Kerry, and as we rounded the bend on a cliffside road, the most incredible view of the Atlantic Ocean suddenly appeared before us. It was a pure “wow” moment.
I felt something similar when I turned left in Oviedo and saw 1003 McKinnon Drive in front of me. At night, the house is a wall of sparkling Christmas lights, a riot of color and decoration. The lights wrap around the yard, covering the sidewalk and the side of the house.
There’s a lot to see. The house features a sidewalk light tunnel, a huge tree made of lights, and decorations throughout the yard. You’ll find a mix of religious and secular Christmas decorations, so whichever side of the holiday you celebrate, there’s something here for you to enjoy.
Address: 1003 McKinnon Drive, Oviedo, FL 32765
TIP: Just around the corner from 1003 McKinnon Drive, you’ll find 1056 Neely Street. It may be smaller, but it’s a really well-done display. This neighborhood has some other nice displays and is worth driving around if you’re in the area.
1104 Celebration Avenue
Celebration always delivers when it comes to Christmas light displays. Residents in this neighborhood like to decorate for the holidays, with the displays ranging from tasteful and classic to a riot of lights and inflatables. Because of the town’s proximity to Disney World, you can also find plenty of Disney decorations here.
1104 Celebration Avenue is definitely a highlight of the area. From the giant candy cane and lollipop decorations to the tree wrapped in white lights, from the Disney inflatables to the gingerbread house windows, this home packs a ton of Christmas cheer into a corner lot.
And it’s not the only house on the block worth visiting. On a recent Saturday night, another brightly lit house on this street featured an older couple dressed as Santa and Mrs. Claus waving to passers-by while Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” blared over the speakers. It was pretty entertaining.
TIP: Several houses on and around Celebration Avenue are decked out for the holidays, so take some time to explore the area.

3640 and 3681 Oak Vista Lane
3640 and 3681 Oak Vista Lane are located two doors down from each other in Winter Park, making it easy to check out both houses in one go. Both houses are decked out in colorful Christmas lights, creating a festive atmosphere.
At 3640, you’ll be greeted by a sidewalk light tunnel, a huge “JOY” sign, and a bunch of light-up figures. And don’t miss the “Jingle Rock Band” featuring figures of Santa, a reindeer, and an elf. The Christmas music playing in the background really sells it.
Address: 3640 and 3681 Oak Vista Lane, Winter Park, FL 32792
Yuletide Yoda’s Galactic Adventure
Star Wars fans, this one’s for you. Yuletide Yoda’s Galactic Adventure is definitely one of the geekiest Christmas light displays in Orlando.
The house is located at 5164 Howell Branch Road in Winter Park. It’s decked out with Death Star and AT-AT inflatables, wreaths adorned with Storm Troopers, a sleigh dubbed the Death Star Express, and lots of other themed decorations. You can walk around the yard and get a close-up look at the festive display.
TIP: You can find lots of decorated houses along the stretch of Lake Howell Road/Lakemont Avenue that runs from Howell Branch Road to Aloma Avenue. The neighborhood off Taylor Avenue is especially well decorated.
Address: 5164 Lake Howell Road, Winter Park, FL 32792
Kissimmee Light Display
The Kissimmee light display at 922 Dartmouth Court features 100,000 LED lights dancing to Christmas music and Disney songs. You can listen to the music at 99.7 FM. The show runs from 6-9:30pm nightly.

Laprada Lights
The Laprada Lights, located in Winter Garden, take Christmas light displays to the next level. This elaborately crafted light and music show lasts nearly half an hour and features a high-tech setup with thousands of lights.
One unique aspect of the Laprada Lights is that you can pick which song gets played by going to ControlTheLights.net. Up to five songs are selected per show on a first-come, first-served basis. This year’s display features 13 new songs, including a Taylor Swift Eras tour medley and Wicked’s “Defying Gravity.”
Tune your car radio to 93.9 FM to listen in. The Laprada Lights run nightly from 6-10:30pm through January 5, 2025.
